In the last year of her life, Mum had lost the ability of speech, so she would communicate via a 'thumbs up' or 'thumbs down' to show pleasure or DISpleasure! Our kids have continued Grandma's method of communication when their mouths are full or they're concentrating on something else. She remains with us constantly in the things she did....happy memories. Obviously this is one story from the end, my head is swimming with multitudes of others!
